The main priorities of DoF's strategy are based on: adopting the most up-to-date techniques of budget allocation, enhancing human resources qualifications at DoF and implementing a financial and accounting system based on the best international practices. The strategy prioritizes the set-up of a new fiscal policy unit to allow DoF to provide and advise on all fiscal measures, including Public-Private Partnership (PPP).

This will ensure further financial stability of the government’s activities and enhance the level of financial planning. In addition to that, the priorities are focused on bringing in general cooperation mechanisms with the Federal institutions regarding financial and accounting policies and improving Customs activities.

DoF will ensure the implementation of these priorities by organizing a series of practical programs and innovative comprehensive projects. It will also work on identifying roles and responsibilities and creating a modern organizational structure that will determine the direction of putting into practice the new strategy.

 

This means DoF will put in place an integrated control system that measures strategic performance through the Strategic Planning Office with the support of the Project Management Office.
